Introduction to Friction Welding

This one day session at our headquarters in St. Charles is designed to help you understand the fundamentals of the two major frictional welding processes for thermoplastics:

- Vibration Welding

- Spin Welding

At the end of the day, we will have covered vibration welder systems and components, vibration welder tooling concepts, spin welder systems and components, spin welder tooling concepts, thermoplastics materials, part design, application evaluation, machine controls, service and repair, and how to best incorporate these processes into your manufacturing operation.

There are no prerequisites for this seminar, but class size is limited to 10 to 25 participants. The first session begins at 8:30 am and the last session ends at 4:30 pm. Tuition includes all necessary learning materials, continental breakfast, and lunch. Attendees are responsible for their own travel and lodging.
