This one day seminar at our St. Charles headquarters is designed to help you understand the basics of the three major heated tool assembly processes for thermoplastics: - Hot Plate Welding - Thermal Staking - Thermal Insertion - Thermal Date Coding or Serializing - Thermal Degating By the end of the day, we will have covered hot plate welder systems and components, hot plate tooling concepts, thermal press systems and components, thermal insertion tooling, thermal staking tooling, plastics materials, part design, application evaluation, machine controls, service and repair, and how to best incorporate these processes into your manufacturing operation. There are no prerequisites for this class, but class size is limited to 10 to 25 participants. The first session begins at 8:30 am and the last session ends at 4:30 pm. Tuition fee includes all necessary learning materials, continental breakfast, and lunch. Attendees are responsible for their own transportation and lodging. |
