Building fixtures with detent tracks and stop blocks can be quite costly, especially for low-volume parts that require a number of hits on a welder.

This device uses two low-power low-voltage lasers to paint lines of laser light that intersect directly beneath the horn centerline. These beams are arranged in such a way that this aiming is independent of part height. A bright red "X" of laser light marks the spot the horn will hit when the welder is activated.

The unit mounts on the 3.5" diameter column of a press-type ultrasonic welder, and is pre-aimed for a 10.25" throat depth (these measurements are standard for the majority of 20 kHz U.S.-built machines - please verify on your machine before ordering). The low-voltage CE-marked power supply comes with a detachable IEC (computer-style) power cord (U.S. 110v style supplied), and can be plugged into 100 to 250 volts AC, 47 to 63 Hz.

The lasers are 1mw 650nm aiming lasers and are not generally harmful to vision, while remaining quite visible in normal interior light. Full safety documentation on the lasers is provided.
