This manual is for standard-duty 20KHz press systems of 400 or 800 watts utilizing the 43A15 press. These units were shipped from approximately 1975 to 1986. The systems had analog timers in the press, and were originally shipped beige in color with brown front panels. The 800-watt generators had two white "racing" stripes running horizontally across the front panel, while the 400 watt generators had an external heat sink on top and the Dukane "vibrating D" logo on the front panel. These systems shipped with press model number 43A15, and generator model numbers 40A315 or 40A321B. From mid-1985 on, some of these systems shipped with 20A1000 generators of 1000 watts power capability. Make sure to ask for the 1000 watt manual addendum if you have such a system. All of these systems shipped with manual tuning, but systems shipped with 40A321B or 20A1000 generators may have been upgraded to Auto-Trac automatic tuning at some point. These systems also shipped over the years with generator models 40321A, 40A321, and 40A320. Please specify your generator and we will ship you the closest manual we have.
