These 2.5" diameter anvils (1/8" wide body with 0.502" diameter through hole in the center and three 0.177" diameter countersunk holes at 120 degrees on a 1.0" bolt circle) fit Dukane standard DDSM "sewing machines" and "lace" machines with holders, as well as many competitive products. Sharp edge and tight radius anvils typically are used for slitting, while broader radius anvils can either slit or seal.
