Ultrasonic Tooling Workshop

If you have to know about how and why horns do what they do, and need to understand what the capabilities and constraints are when our horn engineers do their jobs, then this is the session for you. Topics include horn theory, generation of amplitude gain, horn geometry, material selection, coatings, tuning, and troubleshooting. Attendees will leave knowing enough to design and tune simple ultrasonic horns, and appreciate why they should not try to do anything more complicated than that without more experience.

Prerequisite: Introduction to Ultrasonic Plastics Assembly Seminar, Ultrasonic Plastics Assembly Forum, or equivalent experience.

This one-day workshop is offered at the Dukane headquarters facility in St. Charles, Illinois, USA (Chicago). Fee includes sessions, learning materials, continental breakfast, and lunch. Transportation, lodging, and other meals are the responsibility of the attendee. Limited to 15 attendees.
